Sunflowers, corn, and railroad tracks

Yesterday, I had a super fun session with Cara. We took pictures in a full-blown corn field, sunflower field, and on some train tracks. We battled ants, various bugs, and the Louisiana heat, but we pulled through successfully. I think the photos turned out beautifully. This was my first time shooting in a sunflower field and corn field, and I have to say these settings are absolutely perfect for photos at sunset. Needless to say, I will be revisiting these locations!

The Hathorn Family

Despite some chances of rain on Saturday, we got to photograph Daniel and Hannah and their two adorable kids. This session included an impromptu visit with the park ducks, which was fun for them (and me!). As always, Kiroli Park provided a beautiful lakeside setting and I thought the photos turned out beautifully. Thanks again, Hathorn family!
